Thai-made eVTOL fixed-wing UAVs for mapping and surveillance

iCreativeSystems (ICS) is a Thai designer and manufacturer of eVTOL fixed-wing and multirotor unmanned aircraft. The same Thai engineering team designs the airframe, avionics and software, and maintains the aircraft after delivery.

Eight layers of fail-safe

Motor out, a faulty wing servo, spoofed GNSS: every case has an automatic response engineered by ICS.

Designed and built in Thailand

Every aircraft passes through the same engineering team: design desk, assembly room, test rig, airfield.

From the design desk to the sky

Every mission starts on the design desk. Our engineers shape the airframe in 3D CAD for maximum strength at minimum weight, then mould the fuselage and wings in ICS's own factory. Every propulsion part, from motors and wiring to flight control, is assembled and tested before the aircraft flies.

The airframe is the body, the FCU is the brain

The airframe is the body, the FCU is the brain

The airframe needs a high strength-to-weight ratio for long flights. The flight control unit senses through its sensors and commands continuously; it must be protected from shock, vibration and heat, and work seamlessly with the flight software and autopilot algorithms.

    3D design

Fuselage, wing and VTOL booms modelled in CAD before any part is cut.

  2. Wing load analysis
    02

    Wing load analysis

Load distribution over wing and tail, so the structure is stiff but light.

  3. 03

    Parts made in-house

Prototype parts 3D-printed in-house, so a design change takes a day.

  4. 04

    Assembled and wired in-house

Engineers route the wiring and fit the systems in every fuselage themselves, checking each point before closing it.

  5. 05

    Fly it in simulation first

Flight software is tested in a simulator before the real aircraft flies. The same setup trains operators, so they know the aircraft before they reach the field.

  6. Real flight performance tests
    06

    Real flight performance tests

Real flights from sea level to over 3,000 m AMSL on a planned route and altitude profile, checked against the design.
